These terms and conditions apply to every order placed in the Holenea online shop. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you accept the version of these terms that is published at that time; you can save or print this page.

2. Products
We sell handmade linen clothing, home textiles and wooden homeware. Each product page states the material, colour, measurements, contents and dispatch time. Check the listed specifications. We remain responsible for supplying goods that match the description.
3. Prices
All prices are in euros (EUR) and are final prices. Shipping is free to Slovenia and all other EU member states, including furniture delivery. See our shipping page for delivery details. We do not charge any other fees or surcharges, including for card payments.
4. How the contract is made
The product pages are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. To order, add products to your cart, enter your contact and delivery details, choose a delivery and payment method and click “Order with obligation to pay”. Before you click this button you can review and correct all details, including the products, quantities, selected sizes or colours, delivery charge and total price.
Clicking the order button sends a binding order. You receive an automatic email confirming that we have received your order. The contract is concluded when the payment has been authorised and we confirm the order by email. If we cannot accept an order, for example because a piece has become unavailable, we tell you without delay and refund any amount already paid in full.
The contract is concluded in English. We store the order details and send them to you in the order confirmation email; if you created a customer account, you can also view your orders there.
5. Payment
Payment is due when you place the order. The available payment methods are shown at checkout. Only payment methods actually offered at checkout are available; do not send card details to us. More information is on our payments page.
6. Delivery
We deliver to Slovenia and the other member states of the European Union. All pieces are in stock and are handed to the carrier within 2–5 business days after payment. Transit times, charges and the delivery of furniture are explained on our shipping page. Unless another date has been agreed, we deliver within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract.
The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the goods.
7. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until the price has been paid in full.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. How to withdraw, the model withdrawal form, return costs and refunds are explained on our returns and refunds page, where you can also send your notice online.
Conformity and remedies
We are responsible for a lack of conformity that existed on delivery and becomes apparent within two years. A lack of conformity appearing within one year is presumed to have existed on delivery unless this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect. Notify us within two months of discovering the problem and allow inspection. You can choose free repair or replacement, subject to the statutory impossibility and disproportionate-cost exceptions. We will restore conformity within a reasonable time, no longer than 30 days, without significant inconvenience and at our expense.
You may seek a proportionate price reduction or terminate the contract where statutory conditions apply, including refused or unsuccessful remedies, a serious defect justifying an immediate remedy, or where timely conformity cannot be achieved. If a lack of conformity appears less than 30 days after delivery, Slovenian law also gives you the right to terminate and request a refund. Termination is not available for a merely minor lack of conformity; the seller bears the burden of proving that it is minor.
If we dispute the existence of the lack of conformity, we reply in writing within eight calendar days of receiving your claim. On termination for nonconformity, we refund payment no later than eight days after receiving the goods or evidence of their return. A price reduction is refunded within eight days of the claim. We cover necessary return costs. These remedies are separate from the 14-day withdrawal right.
Mandatory guarantee
New household furniture, including our dining and coffee tables, carries the mandatory Slovenian guarantee of at least one year. This guarantee is additional to, and does not restrict, statutory conformity remedies against the seller. The guarantee document identifies the guarantor, service arrangements, territory, duration and claims process. No additional voluntary guarantee is promised unless expressly stated for that product.
10. Complaints
Send a complaint by email, by post or through our contact form, describing the problem and, if possible, including your order number. We confirm receipt and give you a written reply within eight calendar days.
11. Out-of-court dispute resolution
We try to resolve complaints directly.
If a complaint is rejected, we provide the applicable information on a durable medium. The European Commission’s ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025.
12. Liability
We are liable in accordance with the law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
13. Personal data
We process your personal data to handle your order as described in our privacy policy.
14. Intellectual property
The texts, images, logo and design of this website belong to Holenea or are used with permission. They may not be copied or reused without our written consent.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future orders. The version published at the time you placed your order applies to that order.
16. Applicable law and courts
These terms and any contract with us are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence or of Slovenia.
